Support for Teenagers

Support for your teenager can lead to significant changes in their life, transforming their ability to cope with everyday anxiety into feeling empowered by effective tools and practices. I'm passionate about using my years of experience in mental health to help teenagers find the calm, peace, and joy they deserve.

Each program is personalized, allowing your teenager time to grow, explore, connect, and heal. Initial sessions focus on getting to know them, discussing their needs, and setting goals. In a safe and secure space, they will feel heard and understood. Weekly sessions include discussions on achievements, challenges, and new issues, providing opportunities to work through problems using powerful techniques.

Ongoing support helps teenagers develop life-long coping strategies, building self-esteem, confidence, and resilience. My goal is to provide the solid foundations and tools necessary for them to make significant shifts in how they feel and what they believe is possible.

A five Step Program

Stepping Stones to Calm - 5 Week Program for Teenagers

Our 5-week program is designed to support teenagers struggling with anxiety.

Throughout the program, participants will learn what happens in the body when they feel overwhelmed, anxious, or angry. They'll discover techniques to manage anxiety in real-time.

This program is practical, informative, and tailored to each individual's needs. Teens will be introduced to the power of breathing exercises, mindfulness, guided imagery, and other practical methods to transition from the stress response to a state of calm.

Each session lasts 45 minutes and is conducted online via Zoom.

Cost for the 5 week program £200

In the past, I had always tried to encourage counselling when my daughter felt down but her experience with CAMHS was so poor that she was reluctant. I tried to find independent support but was never really satisfied and my daughter was unreceptive. After a recommendation from my neighbour, we decided to try again and immediately my daughter felt a warmth and trust from Jacqui. She looked forward to her weekly sessions and afterwards would say to me that she felt Jacqui talked to her as an equal and never talked down to her. That was important as she had felt patronised by previous sessions with CAMHS.
I saw such a difference in her attitude and confidence after her sessions with Jacqui and will not hesitate to contact her in the future if needs be.
Jacqui, thank you so much for your wonderful work with her
